Charge $200 dollars to fix a bent rim. He bought a used rim, which according to him he paid $30 for. If you did not know installing a rim is the same amount of work as installing a tire. He marked up the rim to $85 an almost triple mark up; usual mark up is about double, and then charged $115 in labor when the standard labor for installing and balancing a tire is about $25.\r When I confronted him about it, all I asked was, ""you charged $200 to install a used rim?""\r When he could not defend his actions he then told me he would wave all charges and hung up the phone. He then called up and harassed my wife, telling her to bring the car in as he was taking back his parts. She came home completely upset.\r I recomend not doing business with this man, he is unprofessional, slow and overcharges. I have worked as a mechanic, in the past as my Uncle ran a garage. \r Pros: he has a good location Cons: He charges people as much as he thinks he can get away with rather than a standard charge as do most reputable mechanics in the area. more
