Most Incredible Wedding Cake EVER 4/10/2006

In preparation for my recent wedding I must have tasted dozens of cakes from dozens of different bakeries. The one that I will never ever forget is Zingermans. I was fortunate enough to taste several different types of their cakes at a wedding show and I couldn't help but go back for more again and again. The best flavor I tried was the almond pound cake (doesn't sound good but it was INCREDIBLE). Zingerman's cake was heads and tails above any other cake flavor wise and aesthetically. Did we end up getting one? No. The downside is price. We were on a tight budget. However, if you've got the money, look no further than here for your beautiful and amazingly good wedding cake. more

Unbelievable bread! 8/19/2005

Everything at Zingerman's is awesome. They offer homemade bread with all natural ingredients. They even offer a guarantee, if you don't like it they'll give you your money back. They also offer all kinds of sweets, croissants, pies, cakes, brownies. You can watch the bakers making the bread through the window. I've also seen them make beautiful wedding cakes. Also check out their delicatessan for delicious soups and sandwiches. Zingerman's is an Ann Arbor staple. more

We are real artisan bakers, which means that we use traditional methods and flavorful ingredients to make our bread and sweet stuff. Our Bakehouse is a wholesale bakery for specialty food stores, caf s and restaurants in southeastern Michigan; a retail shop; and a baking school for home bakers. In our retail store, you can buy all of the baked goods we make, sandwiches and soups. You can also buy fresh candy bars made on-site by Zingerman's Candy Manufactory.
