I normally hate taking time for reviews but was so impressed with Zen Experience that I had to do one. I went for a couples massage with my husband who normally does not like spas...

Worst

I took my teenage daughter there to experience the oxygen bar, as I tried it other places and it was great.

I work with Maria, and she is just fantastic. In the year I've been coming to Zen Experience, she and all the staff have worked hard to not must meet my expectations, but exceed them. I am always treated with respect and welcomed every single time I come in the door. I'm a large woman, and I know it can be difficult for both the customer and therapist. Maria has made me feel comfortable from day one, and has always been encouraging (even when I know she's had to work extra hard). I know this is a big part of the reason I've been able to recover. more

It is truly relaxing and calming, from the moment you enter the spa. I have had the Thai massage many times, and it is so wonderful! I feel totally like a new person when I leave! My husband and I have done the couple massages, and Nicky and Ann are wonderful! We have given this gift to all of our adult children and their wives, and they are so happy to receive it! Would not go any where else, unless, we returned to Thailand of course! more

My last zen experience was very disappointing. The massage therapist did not listen to the level of comfort that I wanted and I came away with bruises and a sore back. Luckily this has not been my usual experience and I will return to try someone else. more

There is no other place in the Twin Cities area that can provide a better massage (Thai massage is my personal choice) I have tried many spas over the years and the professional, massage therapists at Zen are superior. They spend time before the treatment, to discuss your areas of concern and make sure that when you leave, you are completely satisfied. I am forever a loyal customer! Thanks Zen! more

Terrible Experience. After cancelling our booked couples massage, we were offered a discount on an individual service. The receptionist verbally offered me a discount. When the service was complete, she would not honor the discount. When I refused to pay her anything extra, she called mall security and reported me for shoplifting. This business is dishonest and unethical. Please do not give them your business. more

I think this was the best massage I have ever had. Loved this place although in the Mall. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Loved the hot towel at the end of the massage.Very calm area, near to parking. Prices are great and you do get great discounts with their loyalty program which is not a membership. You pay nothing for it and is added up each time you go.\r more

I have had 2 very good massages at Zen. Once while pregnant, and one following the birth of my second child. They were relaxing, and I felt like a new person when I left. The prices are totally reasonable, and I will be going back for a third. Pros: null Cons: null more

This is what I call an affordable good experience 1/2/2012

I normally hate taking time for reviews but was so impressed with Zen Experience that I had to do one. I went for a couples massage with my husband who normally does not like spas and girlie stuff but Zen experience was all the opposite of what he was expecting. The room was like a small paradise with a water fountain, wonderful sound and atmosphere. It looked like a resort massage room. Our tables were heated and the sheets were so smooth. We fell both asleep right through the massage and waken up gently one hour after. I mention one hour as I had massages at 50min which is really not right. After we were offered an amazing tea from Yogi teas I think. The price for what we got was $135 for both and that was a deal. Despite being in the Mall it's just so well located that it was a few steps from the parking lot and we had barely to walk. It is really at the end of the Mall next to the escalator that takes us to the parking lot directly. Will be back for sure. Definitely for Valentines as our budget is not the greatest. More than I expected 6/24/2011

I went to Zen Experience for the first time last week. I first found Zen Experience on citysearch. I saw all of the reviews and that it was voted best of Citysearch. So I thought I would give it a whirl. I decided to just do the 30 minute express facial to see how things flowed. What I ended up receiving was a really relaxed experience and a great facial. I've already made an appointment for a signature facial. Before going, I initially thought a negative is that it is located at a mall (Southdale) and malls aren't my idea of relaxing. However, I made an early appointment and there was plenty of parking plus the spa is only a few second walk from the entrance on the Cheesecake Factory side. So it ended up not being a big deal at all. more
