I love the Lobster Fig Pizza from Zebra's! You can get it at the bar and sink into the couches to eat it or order it in the dining room. The night is perfect if I can get my hus...

Worst

I thought I would give Zebra's one more try tonight. On occasions I have had a very good meal, but more often than not, nothing special. Not worth the prices they are charging. ...

outstanding service 7/16/2007

Zebra's provides such a warm, comfortable upscale environment with incredible food and outstanding service. We loved the restaurant and told all our friends about it. Pros: outstanding service Cons: parking more

Great pizza andatmospherer 7/16/2007

unigue cuisine great and courteous staff love the outdoor dining during the warmer days of spring summer and fall and the cozines of indoor dining during the winter months i try and get to zebra 's as least twice a momth for brunch or dinner Pros: food Cons: parking more

great food, wine & service-a place you'll want to go to again and again 7/16/2007

Zebra's is gourmet dining ina convenient suburban location. The food, wine and service are the best anywhere. There are always different things on the menu. You can sample tastes of different wines. And my husband loves the sushi. My favorite is the lobster pizza with figs. Sounds odd but it's delicious. You will feel pampered and appreciated when you leave, but it's not stuffy. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they have all been there a long time. You'll enjoy it! Pros: great food, wine & service. A gourmet restaurant in the burbs Cons: can get a little noisy on a busy nite more

Best All Around 7/16/2007

Zebra's is the best bistro around. The food is a ten, and the atmosphere is romantic and fun. The service is always superb. I love the diver scallops, and my husband loves the filet. We always share and end up with a turf and surf..That's the way to go. There is no waiting and no worrying about parking. So for a special occasion or a night out I would recommend Zebra's. Pros: Easy Parking, Great Food, and Good Service Cons: A little Pricey more

Treating a group as individuals 7/16/2007

When dining at Zebras with a group of friends, Zebras waitstaff somehow manages to treat each customer as an individual, correctly addressing each patron by attending to every person's order with detail and accuracy. Customers never feel as if they are ""lumped together,"" simply because they are part of a group. Pros: Ambience, service, and great food combine to make this the perfect place to a special night out. Cons: None that I can see more

Great service and food! 7/16/2007

Everytime we have been to Zebra's the service and food have been excellent. It is cozy and comfortable and a great place for a ""date night"" with my husband. The sushi is always fresh. Pros: service, consistent quality Cons: too small more

Grrrrrrrrreat seafood!! 7/16/2007

Calamari, sushi, sea bass - if it is from the sea the Zebra serves it up right! Great selection of beer and wine to go with the excellent food and service. TOP NOTCH!!! more

Excellent Sushi 7/16/2007

Everytime we have been to Zebra's the Sushi has been wonderful. It is consistently fresh and the presentation has been lovely. We definitely enjoy going there. Pros: Good service, excellent cocktails Cons: average brunch more

Best Brunch, Best Seafood and Great for Entertaining Friends! 7/16/2007

Sure, anyone can offer cheaper prices for brunch, but no one can offer the distinct and flavorful concoctions that Zebra's does! If you want bacon, eggs and toast, then head on over to your local greasy spoon. If you want to excite your palette and give it a break from the everyday boredom you're used to then get into Zebra's on any given Sunday. Besides the fantastic brunch, what they do to seafood and sushi is masterful. Just try the lobster pizza! And if you want to impress your favorite group of friends, there is no better atmosphere if you head into their lounge across from the bar. Of course, I enjoy sitting there with the Sunday paper too, sipping a fresh squeezed glass of orange juice - or better yet - topping it off with some sparkling champagne! Treat yourself to a different dining experience and head to Zebra's. You and your friends will be glad you did! Pros: The food is top rate and the staff is very pleasant. Very unassuming Cons: Wish it were bigger more

Upscale Boston dining, nice neighborhood bistro feel, no big-city parking hassles: What's not to love? 7/16/2007

Zebra's is my favorite restaurant.I try to get here at least two nights a week. Sure, I dress up and sit in the dining room with my wife to celebrate special occasions, but the prices are reasonable enough to make it an everyday spot, too. And the varied and constantly changing menu keeps me coming back. Foods I've tried for the first time here (and loved!): venison, cockles, soft-shell crab, tuna sashimi, foie gras (so good, I giggled!). My favorites include the twin sliders (a burger - ask for goat cheese! - and a pulled pork sandwich, both served on hearty mini buns!), the frisee salad with egg, the BBQ special (whenever chef puts it on the menu, try it!), the veal paillards (actually, I could just eat a quart or two of the crazy mushroom fricasee - it's magic!) and, even though I'm not a vegetarian, I love asking the chef to make me a wacky vegetarian creation -- never been disappointed. BTW, I disagree with the voters who say this place isn't kid-friendly: I've brought my children several times. There is no children's menu, except during Sunday brunch, but they always have pasta, chicken, or something else tasty on hand for the finicky young palate. And kids seem to LOVE sushi - who knew? They have full bar and a small but well-chosen microbrew beer list (by the bottle), but of course it IS a wine bar, so go for the wine! My favorite by the glass is the Pedroncelli 3 vins cab sauv, and my wife loves the Dr. Loosen Reisling. It's the dining experience you'd expect from a 4- or 5- star restaurant in Boston, but without all the pretense, all served up in a warm, inviting, friendly atmosphere. Do yourself a favor -- sit at the bar sometime. Zebra's has the best bartenders in New England: Joe, Vicki, Jason, Lou, Ruth - and is Greg tending bar now, too? - anyhow, you're all the BEST! Pros: Chef AQB, Sushi, Wine, Bartenders, Atmosphere, Seafood, the BRUNCH (omg), Easy to Park Cons: Needs a couple of good beers on tap. And ask for fresh squeezed citrus, or else you'll get Rose's! more

Been coming here since it first opened 7/16/2007

Zebra has a knack for making you feel like you're having an upscale dining experience, yet you're hanging out in your living room at the same time. My husband and I are partial to the bar; It's very comfortable with easy chairs and coffee tables, and the menu there makes a great accompaniment to their extensive wine list and fun featured cocktails. My absolute favorite is the Key Lime martini. If you go, don't miss the paper thin grilled pizzas. Pros: The bar, easy parking more

Best neighborhood atmosphere with the bonus of sophisticated food and beverages. No pretension here! 7/16/2007

Since coming back to try Zebras again, during the past several months, we were immediately impressed with the comfortable atmosphere in the lounge area but that was quickly overshadowed by our impression with the menu and the quality of the food. For years we've traveled to the best venues in Boston for ""fine dining"". At last, we have something just as exciting within 20 minutes of home. We enjoy the service, the presentation, and most of all, the unique combinations of flavors to savor. We've always found a perfectly made drink when stopping for an appetizer and the wine list has some great opportunities for pairing with the food selections. more

GREAT Seafood!! Friendly and professional service. 7/16/2007

The seafood at Zebras is outstanding! I highly recommend their tuna entree...beautiful presentation, great flavor and exceptional quality. If you go, you have to try the sushi! Best sushi in the area! Very fresh and there are many creative rolls to choose from...I try something new every time I visit (the Medfield roll is a must have!). I've also attended a charity event at Zebras and it was a great time had by all. Professional service and an exceptional dining experience. more

Five stars 7/16/2007

Great food, great service, excellent atmosphere. It's refreshing to be able to dine out at a place like Zebra's out here in the 'burbs. more

Best in Metrowest 7/16/2007

By far one of the best resturants in the metrowest area. I have never had an unpleasant meal. Repeat visitors from out of state (including NYC and Palo Alto, CA) have requested to go there again. We used to have to go into the city (Providence or Boston) for a decent meal, but this resturant has saved us many a trip. It is easy to get to and easy (and free) to park. We love the sushi; very good. Better than we have had in Boston. And less expensive. A great place to meet up with friends. Pros: Free parking and always a space available on the street. Fast take out service for sushi more

Best Sushi and much more 7/16/2007

The food at Zebra's is not only creative, but fantastic. The sushi is the best I have ever had.....always fresh. You feel like you are at a bar/restaurant in Boston, without the long drive. I would recommend it for every occasion. more

Love the Service, Sushi, Seafood and Wine 7/16/2007

We dine at Zebra's often. Part of what keeps us coming is the friendly service we get there. It's almost like visiting an old friend. The sushi is great and can be a main course, or as we like to do, pick some for appetizers. We've always had great luck with the seafood which is creatively prepared. Another favorite is the wine menu, and we have been turned on to a few wines that we haven't encountered before that were just right. We eat there as a couple, but also use it as a home base for larger gatherings with close friends. We always leave with a smile on our face! Pros: Service, sushi, wine Cons: mixed results on steaks more

Something for Everyone! 7/16/2007

Best Restaurant in the Metrowest hands down. more

We loved it so much, we had our wedding reception there! 7/16/2007

What can I say about Zebras...we had our wedding reception there! It will be three years this Tuesday! Zebras is not only the best restaurant around, Zebras is fantastic place to hold a party. Plus Zebras is fantastic at accommodating for food allergies. I am deathly allergic to dairy and I've had nothing but success there. Pros: Food and wine! Cons: not a lot of parking more

Best Food Around 7/16/2007

This restaurant is one of my favorites. Every meal is always cooked to perfection and the presentation of the food is amazing. The variety in the menu is enough to keep everyone happy and their Brunch is delightful. Great location..relaxed..yet romantic. Highly recommended Pros: Ambience, food, service Cons: parking more
