Editorial review from Citysearch 10/8/2016

On Sept 21th is took my dog (Sazzie) with a slight ear infection since it say her ,trying to put her pawn in her ear. Her doctor was not in so a Dr. Robert Halloock saw her and stated she had one of her ears red n to be on the save side he was going to prescribe MOMATAMAX 15 MG PLUS some PREDNISONE 10MG 5 drops in east ear. So if started the prescription as indicated ,on the 5th day in decided not to continue with drop n other medication. She couldn't walk n couldn't hear me calling her, she didn't want to eat. On the 29th is got home n white stuff thick was coming out of her mouth n her tongue hanging out,in drive all the way to Yalesville Vet. N a soon as it get there Amy Anderson & Dana Muir-Preston came in room as it starts to explain on of them give me a bill n had me sign n it told them u haven't even chked my dog and it didn't see u take her blood test n the bill is $268.58 in didn't see n one of them the chunky one told me ""If u don't like our service take yur dog n GGO somewhere else"" she knew it had sign n honestly they gave her phenobarbital 32.4 n stated that's a anti-seizures med. U dog had 3 seizures, it told them the first 2 medications u gave me did that my dog was acting funny n it had to stop it, she couldn't even here , i was so upset to see my poor dog look so bad n they were like give us yur money n go.if i would of given sazzie all 10 days my service dog would of been dead. So,i continue to see her like she was ,not listening n not eating it called to talk to Lisa Saravis n as soon as she saw her she notice sazzie was bad n she stated in see a Neurologist cause her right eye wasn't blinking n it told her she must of been allergic to the pier medication they had given her cause she was a health active dog n it never had problems with sazzie n all see said that Herr I'll call n get appt, n it kept saying it did research n that medication u gave her dr Hallock says side effects r seizures, limb, etc n they said no it has to be something else, the next day after paying them already $590.n change they were happy campers n didn't care after my dog was one of the patients. I'll told the Neurologist this is Sazzie n he stated the same of her doctor but he wanted $2500 -$3500 for Mri in was so upset n it told him ,it will take my dog home n let all that medications come out of her system n it will nurse my dog back to my health dog she used to be. They want yur money and they did nothing and gave me bills with out me seeing if they really took her blood, that Doctor didn't know if she was allergic to the MOMETAMAX WHICH CONTAINS 3 KINDS OF MEDS :ANIBIOTIC/ANTI-INFLAMMATORY / FUNGAL n all my poor chihuahua had 1 ear red but NO he had me put 5 drops in each plus the other medication. UP DATE : IN DIDN'T LET THE DOCTOR IN PIPER MEMORIAL DR J. HAMMOND TAKE MRI FOR 2,500 but that my dog would not be same n that it could of been medication , it told in rather take my dog home n care for my baby b4 in give u that kind of money n walked out ,for him to sit on floor n stick a Qtip in her nose n see her walk. $138.00. Honestly ,my dfog is back to who she was it took her 4 days n she started to come back. And all they did was steal n kill my Dog that Dr R. HALLOCK. I'LL DON'T CARE if speak my mind n it know my dog. But u guys didn't want to say ""SHE IS ALLERGIC"" WHAT SO HARD BUT NO , HER BRAIN ,THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG SAD HOW U CAN TREAT N KILL A DOG. NO TRUST !!!! THIS IS MY SERVICE DOG N MY LOVE N ATTENTION SHE IS FIND .!! Stop being money hunger n attend to the poor sick animals. Att. Anita.N more

Some good/Saravis is BAD! 4/2/2009

We lost our 2 year old pug on April 1, 2009. This has been the worst day of my life. Our pug had surgery a few weeks ago for string he chewed up. Dr. Kostolitz did a good job keeping us updated. The problems started on Friday when my wife took Oliver to the other Vet Dr. Saravis who insisted Oliver was fine. We kept calling and taking him back as he would not eat and we could sense he was in pain. On Monday, my in laws took him and this lady didn't even want to do an X Ray. We had to force her. She said Oliver was fine and sent him home. On Wednesday it was too late. He had such a bad infection that he could not be saved. Our baby is gone. Nobody or nothing can replace him. I would caution anyone going to this hospital. Cons: won't listen to you when you know your dog is sick more

Response to Eva K.'s review of 6/26/07 10/14/2008

We are sorry to hear that you have concerns about the care your puppy received at our hospital. It is our goal to provide our clients with as much medical information as possible about their pet's condition so that an educated choice can be made in regards to the treatment options.\r We also want to ensure the utmost safety of our patients. In your case, after diagnosing your puppy's genetic disease, we recommended a referral to Tufts University Veterinary Medical Center because we felt your pet would receive the most advanced care for her condition. \r The cost of the surgical procedure at Tufts is usually discussed with the owners before any medical or surgical steps are taken. \r In regards to your second complaint, radiographs were taken at our hospital to determine the location of the foreign body in your pet's intestines. If the foreign body would have been entagled in her intestinal tract, a more aggressive treatment might have been necessary. The diagnostic options were disc more

Liver Shunt 6/26/2007

We had bought a yellow lab puppy that at only four months old we found out she had a liver shunt. Yalesville told us it could be fixed only after we had spent a couple thousand dollars did they tell us there are two different kinds operable and not non operable. They told us she needed 24 hour care, we know now that this was not necessary. We had to go to Tufts University have the surgery which cost a ton of money. This past week our dog got into my underwear and my mother-in law rushed her to Yalesville. Instead of giving us the medicine to see if it would pass they immediately did X-rays and did not contact myself or my husband. They x-rays cost $350 and of course that day it passed through. I believe that Yalesville tries to do things in the best interest of the animals yet they have no regard for the people paying for it all. \r \r The front desk is also a joke...The woman are rude and after spending the money we spent have very little respect for us. \r \r One positive note: The tech more
