Won's Shoe Repair

I like to wear my favorite shoes everywhere. Which only means that they get worn out really easily. For years, I've been taking my heels to Won's Shoe Repair. It was actually my mother who suggested to me. Its true that their English isn't top-notch. However, they are one hardworking couple who greet me with a simple, yet warm ""Hello."" I've never had a single negative experience before. I recommend this little shop to those who expect real service. Don't expect your high fashion name brand shoes to look as though they've gotten a face lift from the factory store. Their methods are old school, but longlasting. (And for the reviewer who mentioned their being Chinese? Let's not just assume backgrounds. It only makes you look like an idiot. They're Korean.) more

I brought boots in to have new rubber tips on the heels. I picked them up and as I was leaving I noticed two small tears, one on each boot in exact same place, which I believe were torn on the clamp they use to put on the new tips. I went back in and suddenly, They couldn't speak english and kept saying, I change for you. (Their english was surprising good only a minute prior.) Then the guy picks up my boot and starts yelling at me and won't give me my boot back. Don't make a big mistake and go there. Pros: Location Cons: Everything else more

The owner quoted me a price of $45 to simply put two pull tabs on a piece of luggage that had them snapped off in airport baggage handling. No wonder he didn't have anyone come in the shop when I walked in. He is arrogant, rude and totally out of his element in running a 'business'. I got a luggage repair shop to do it for $10. This owner will be out of business soon. Too bad I couldn't have rated him with 'negative stars.' Cons: Arrogant and Pricy more

NEVER GO HERE FOR SHOE REPAIR!!! This place ruined my $150 pair of Cole Hahn shoes. The chinese owner that does the work doesn't have a clue what he's doing! All I wanted was a 1/2 sole put on the shoes, he used nails on the bottom of them and they squeaked very loadly every step I took! It took 5 trips to this store to even get the terrible workmanship that I finally received! NEVER GO HERE!!!!! Cons: Terrible service and zero quality!!! more
