Which view to you prefer. 10/7/2006

The Winghouse bar and grill is on the same theme at Hooter's. I think it comes second to Hooter's. The girls are wearing low tops and short shorts. The televisions are showing all kinds of sports. Then there is the food. They do a good sandwich and it comes with chips. You have to order a side of French fries if you want them. The service is good and these girls like to make good tips. Great for guys but average for couples or families. The Winghouse is located on the south side of U.S.19, just north of Main Street. Plenty of parking. more

Wing House Bar & Grill 6/19/2006

We had been to this restaurant before, but not as a City Editors. It was about 3pm on a Sunday. The car park had plenty of space. We were greeted at the door by a hostess. She asked us where we would like to sit. World soccer was on the TV so we made sure we picked a table opposite a TV. The server came to us immediately and took our drink order. The menus were already on the table. My wife decided on a Dallas Burger ($7.59) and I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak ($6.99) The food came out in good time. My wife's Burger was a little dry. My Philly steak was perfect. Our server came back several times to make sure everything was alright. My soda was $1.99 with free refills. Overall a good experience. We will go back. more

There is more to view than the wings. 6/18/2006

My husband and I have been to the Winghouse several times. It is a sports bar very similar to Hooter's, so you can guess why the servers get their tips. Today Len had the Philly cheese steak @ $6.99 and I had the Dallas Burger at $7.59. Both came with pickle and potato chips. Len's meal was good but my double burger was dry. It stated 2 burgers with B.B.Q. sauce and bacon. I had two slices of the thinest bacon you ever did see. Well actually it was one piece broken in half. Very disappointing. We thought we would watch the second half of one of the soccer World cup games. The large television in the middle was very old and dull making it difficult to see the team in blue. Brazil were fine in yellow; We did get excellent service and the Manager came over to talk to us several times. Winghouse is located just north of Main Street on U.S.19, on the west side. There is loads of parking. With my meal today I would have to say that I prefer Burger King's Whopper at just $2.09 to what I ate. Other times the food has been much better. more
