I must start by saying I have gone to a fondue restaurant in Chicago for a few years, and it is by far the best meal I have had. Wine Cellar tries hard, but it just doesn't work. The prices are far too high, and the selection is nothing to be impressed with. My girlfriend is a vegetarian, and since everything is based on 2 people, and includes meat, we had to get the most basic cheese fondue. What did we get? IT was some cold homefries and hunks of bread. The homefries were supposed to be cold, but I just didn't think it was worth $18. The wine selection is worth going for on its own I will say, and the owner was very helpful in helping us select a good bottle. Also, we went on a Saturday night at 8:15 and we were 1 of only 3 tables.
Pros: romantic
Cons: price, selection, size
