I would not suggest going here.. It's all about how they can get the maximum amount of money from you. I went to them first and then had two consultations at other practices and found out Willowdaile was pretty much going to charge me $1200-$1300 for unnecessary services. They will tell you whatever they want to get extra money. I went to them one time and will never go back again more

Dentist or Angel? Both! All my life I have had anxiety and fear because of bad early experiences with dentists, related to an immunity to the pain drugs available in the past. Dr. Bolton made me believe in painless dentistry. The Willowdaile office has the most up-to-date technology on hand, as well as a thorough knowledge of options for patients with special needs...be they physical, mental or emotional...or in my case, all of the above. \r \r During my recent visits to Dr. Bolton's office, it has been very obvious to me that every person on staff - from the front office, to the assistants, to Dr. Bolton herself - is genuinely concerned about me, my health and the experience I have in the practice from the moment I hit the door until the moment I leave. \r \r Every member of my family and every friend I can have any influence with will be a patient at Willowdaile Family Dentistry. I really wish I had the opportunity to have such excellent dental car all of my life...I will certainly make sure that Dr. Bolton and her crew are a part of my present and my future.\r \r If you are within driving distance of Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Bolton should be your dentist, too. more

I am absolutely pleased!! 3/7/2012

I have been bringing mt daughter to the practice and I have enjoyed my experience. If you knew me you would know that my daughter is the air I breathe and if you do right by her then I am a total unadulterated fan!! At one point, my child was uninsured for dental care and she happened to break her tooth. Dr. Boltn was very accomodating with assisting me. Jennifer (dental benefits) found an error in my medical billing with BCBS that my company wasn't aware of. I always know what is financially expected of me and what my benefits will and WILL NOT cover. It seems like there is not much that dental insurance will pay for these days. But base on comps her prices are reasonable and no pressure place on getting procedures done that may not be economical. I strongly support the practice and encourage each viewer of this review to give the practice and try and I am sure you will enjoy it. Heather at the front desk totally ROCKS!! She is so welcoming & full of life, make you feel like you are valued. Today when customer service SUCKS hard, it is quite refreshing that there are providers that know the value of giving good service coupled with ensuring each patient/client has the best experience. They have flat screens in the room; which child enjoys. The dentist are happy and confident in their skills and it shows in their encounter and the finished product: your mouth. more

Durham's Elite Dentist 2/7/2012

I love this place. I have had several visits here and I have no complaints at all. The customer service is awesome. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They make you feel very comfortable. They sit down with you a go over a correct plan for you to get the work done that you need. I would definitely suggest you go there to get your dental work done. I am a loyal client and would go no where else. I trust nobody else to work on my teeth except the dentists here. more

Great Family Dentist Practice 1/31/2012

I have been to countless dentists in the past and am very skeptical about their recommendations, but over the last few years I have found that Dr. Bolton and her staff have been the most professional and caring dentist practice I have visited. She does not tell me what I want to hear, only how she sees it with logic to back it up. I do not feel that I am getting a mouth full of metal just to keep her budget in tact. She calls it like it is. I have felt so comfortable with her that now my 4 children go as well. My kids love to go to the dentist! My 3 yr old just got back and cannot stop telling me how clean her teeth are. I have complete confidence in this practice and feel that my family's dental care is in great hands. more

Best Experience at a dentist...ever. 12/26/2011

The cleaning was great. I found out that I needed a bunch of work done on my teeth. (previous dentist's inadequate work). Each patient room has a big tv in front of the chair where Dr Bolton can show you exactly what is going on in your mouth. She did 3 filling on me in one sitting. She has the most advanced equipment which made it far more comforatble than any other time I've had work done on my mouth. And she is really gentle. I had zero pain afterward. Great experience under that circumstances. more

Highly recommended 8/23/2011

Dr. Bolton was very meticulous and spent alot of time checking everything and answering all of my questions. She was very careful when it came time for me to have a filling. I never felt a thing ! She also replaced an old, poorly fitting crown that I got from another dentist and made certain that this one was perfect. I love the new crown ! There's no way to tell that it's not a natural tooth. The staff at the front desk, hygienists and dental assistants have been very courteous. I highly recommend Dr. Bolton and Willowdaile Family Dentistry. more

Great dentist!!! 1/25/2010

Reference the above entry, that was not my experience at all. Dr. Bolton is extremely professional and cares very much about her patients. I have been able to agree or disagree with a recommended procedure without any pressure. I also have good dental insurance and it has never been mentioned. I highly recommend this dentist and her staff for your dental care. Pros: Friendly and very helpful more

Avoid Willowdale family dentistry in Durham NC 3/4/2009

WillowdaleFamily Dentistry is a machine to make money. They are determined to extract max insurance. They did not care what I had to say or what services I was interested in. They reviewed my insurance and said ... oh you got good insurance. I was in the market for a new dentist as my old dentist moved. So I went to Willowdale and specifically requested a cleaning and exam whihc is far from what I got. They took all the xrays they could then stated I needed a $800 deep cleaning. I said how about a regular cleaning then in 6 months when I have the money I can get the deep cleaning. They said NO ... it is unethiical for us to clean your teeth now that we decided you need a deep cleaning. Interesting enough their $800 treatment plan started with a regular cleaning. Do not go to this dentist .... they do not care about patients just money. Cons: they do not listen to patients and they do not care .... more

Best dentist I have ever gone too! So, So staff! 12/23/2008

I have since moved and I go back to Durham for my appointments. Make sure to ask for Dr. Bolten. Reception is not the best. They are definately lacking. But, I will not give up tis dentist just for that. Wonderful and professional. more

Dr. Bolton is - hands down - the best dentist that I have ever seen. She is friendly, considerate of her patient's needs, and most importantly pain free! Let's face it: Going to the dentist isn't something anyone likes to do. But, going to Dr. Bolten has always been just fine. She takes special care of her patients to make sure that even the needle doesn't hurt. The entire staff is simply amazing - especially with patients suffering from a fear of dental procedures. Another perk is that her office accepts walk-ins in the morning. more
