Recently having received a gift, bought at William Laman Furniture Garden in Montecito, Santa Barbara, I attempted to return it as I had already received other similar items. I was informed that returning this was impossible, even for credit in the store, unless I could give the exact name of the person who gave it to me. Having given the names of those who had given us this gift, clearly from this store, in the original packing, I was informed that there was not a record under that particular name, and therefore I had no options for returning this item.
This is certainly not how I do business, and therefore I would not recommend supporting this type of customer service, particularly in our industry.
