Best

Victoria and Nira are the best servers there!

A group of friends wanted to go to this very popular club. While it was fun to watch and even participate in the line dancing, and to hear the band, don't entertain the thought t...

A Must Experience...Execllent 7/24/2006

If you are a 1st time traveler or have never been to this uniquely decorated club or ever taken a line dancing class this is a must see must do place to go. Where else can you see horses on the ceiling or sitting next to ya at the bat??? Tell me that!! The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is friendly & you may get to see a tv show set up or taping. Speaking from a rock & roller CA girl its 1st on my list whenever I get to Nashville. Once you go...you will feel a true sense of the country music scene, you won't be disappointed, Daytime or Nighttime. more

Great buffet with good selections. 6/22/2006

The Wildhorse is an awsome place to relax and enjoy all the fun. Just "let your hair down" and go along with the plan for the evening instead of entering with expectations that are only in your mind. Great dance floor with instructors who are great. Best when there is a packed house (if you like crowds) and you can hardly move for all the people. I have never ever been disappointed with the food or drinks. Personal service does lack, but I like being left alone by waiters and ask for what I want when I want it. The Wildhors is one of the best fun places in Nashville to experience great country music. When the band plays "Rock Top", look out! The fun and relaxed atmosphere opens up and the night becomes young. The Wildhorse is a fantastic place for a corporate get-together. They take care of everything and leave the fun to you. Nobody does it better than The Wildhorse! Pros: atmosphere, music, large dance floor Cons: snooty customers, cleanliness, staff friendliness more

Nothing Special 1/16/2006

Me and my husband visited on 1/14/06. It was a big place and the bouncer was extremely nice. I'm only 23 but there was alot of immature teens around. The bartender was rude and seemed bothered by us when we would ask for a drink. He spoke to my husband like he was an idiot. They had lessons and the teachers were funny and friendly. extremely crowded. Only standing room and we got there at 7:30pm. the band that night was excellent. Alot of young kids running around and jumping on stage. Huge dance floor. Upstairs was closed due to a private party. Not one waitress asked if we needed anything. okay time, won't visit again unless there is a concert. Pros: Music, nice size dance floor Cons: Service, Crowded more

Wildhorse Good Time! 10/25/2005

We went to Nashville for our work Christmas party and a bunch of us decided to check out the Wildhorse! It was GREAT!!! We had so much fun, we are all going back to Nashville again this year and will for sure visit again this year! The Dance leaders were so funny! That was the best time I have ever had! Wonderful Show!!! Pros: Just the right Crowd, Inexpensive, Huge Dance Floor more

Had a gret time 2/21/2005

Okay, the line dances were sort of lame. The place was crowded. There were a lot of young people having fun, and that's a good thing. My wife and I were the only people two-stepping and we had to negotiate our way around the floor, but we had a blast. Funny that people commented that we were great dancers, we've only been dancing a year. Guess they just had nothing to compare it to. I would, and will, definitely go back. The dance floor was huge enough to make up for the crowds. more

AWESOME! 9/23/2004

Visited Wildhorse Saloon 9/17/04 and had one of the most awesome experiences of our life! We saw the Ronnie Milsap concert. Sat with a very friendly couple from Kentucky which added to the total experience. They had the combination platter...GOOD CHOICE!!! It looked so inviting I ordered it (hubby ordered a rib eye). Both were excellent but mine was totally memorable! Best I've EVER had! Also had the combination appetizer which included FRIED PICKLES! Never heard of fried pickles but they will be in my dreams forever more! We had an excellent view of the stage, music was crystal clear and the volume not over powering. Our waitress was incredibly attentive under strenous conditions of a packed house...constantly checking on our needs. This is an experience we'll cherish the rest of our lives. We returned twice during our Nashville stay and had excellent service each time. CAN'T WAIT to return!!! Pros: Great service, Excellent food, Wonderful Atmosphere more

Not Recommended 7/29/2004

Well the venue is nice; big dance floor and a good "bar" atmosphere... but don't go for dinner. We sat for 35 minutes before a waitress even came to our table to take our drink order. We were seated at 6:45 and finished eating (and left) at 9:30, so don't go if you're in a hurry. I'll give our kind waitress the benefit of the doubt and say they were understaffed (which shouldn't happen on a Thursday night). We had the fried pickles appetizer which was good. The dinner was mediocre at best. The fries had a good flavor... If only they were warm. The steak and ribs were probably the worst I've had in Nashville. During the meal, we sat through two hours of annoying "technical difficulties" during the band's performance. For the hype, I was highly disappointed. I'm just glad we got there before the 7:00pm cover charge. Pros: atmosphere, fried pickles Cons: , speed of service more

Great Band!!! 2/9/2004

I love going to The Wildhorse and I try and coordinate my visits when Mitchell and Wurth are performing there. I try to go everytime I see them on the schedule. The food and atmosphere are good too. Pros: Mitchell and Wurth more

DON'T BOTHER! 11/8/2003

Music was mediocre, staff was rude.... The bouncer at the front door claimed to be an "expert" and told me that my ID was fake because there was a shadow in my picture. Luckily I had a copy of my voter registration in my wallet. He was very rude and arrogant to me and my friend. Basically we were treated like crap off the street. I will never go back there again. Also, my friend who was with me was underage, and he couldn't even get water at the bar! So completely a waste of time. more

Gotta go WILD 10/10/2003

This place totally rocks especially on Tuesday nights with National Dance Club!!!!!!! Serivce and Security are awesome! (Kudos on the Michael Rosenbaum look-a-like). Service is outstanding and the entertainers interact with the crowd and motivating dance instructors. Live music is always good! Fun things to do if dancing' isn't your thing. Pros: National Dance Club, Service, Food Cons: $6 cover w/ dinner more

Not all what it's cracked up to be 1/28/2003

We stopped in at Wildhorse on a Weds, a Thurs and a Sat. All three nights were pretty lame. Perhaps this club only lives up to its name when there is a concert there. Pros: dance lessons Cons: boring, expensive, food not that good more

nothing better than country nightlife 1/8/2003

i thought it was a great place. we got prompt, courteous service and the atmosphere was excellent. if i ever get to nashville again this will be my first stop for the nightlife. we also felt we got excellent drinks for our money. Pros: clean, friendly more

Where Have All The Dancers Gone ??? 12/21/2002

Nobody knows how to dance anymore -- "line dancing" is for those who can't dance. It's OK for once in a while but for the entire 4 hours that I was there on a Saturday Nite (12/21/02) there was not one 2 Step, Country Waltz or even swing. Just boring line dance after boring line dance. I asked a couple of ladys to 2 Step -- they said they didn't know how. I visit my son in Nashville twice a year and finally got to go to the famous "Wildhorse Saloon" and other than the food, service & atmosphere which was great, the Dancing (if you could call it that) really STUNK. We tried several of the other Clubs - Tootsie's, etc. - same story - no dancing. Can you tell me--are there any places left in Nashville that offers real Country Western Dancing? Pros: food, service Cons: dancing, smoke, smoke more

They even have lessons! 12/14/2002

The Wildhorse is cool, you might get to be on TV and the will teach you to dance if you don't know how. more

GREAT FOOD/DANCE 12/4/2002

I visted the WildHorse Saloon in April of 2002 and absolutely loved it. I was in Nashville for a conference and we went there everynight. I never had so much fun Pros: great dance floor, great food, fun atmosphere Cons: alcohol is expensive more

Not Worth It 11/6/2002

Im sorry but this is going to be a bad review folks. If you want to just draw the tourist only instead of a steady clientele you are doing a good job they dont' know what they are paying for at the door. I remember when the Wild Horse opened and we we made the hour drive never got the service a customer deserves. In the last few years the only time I would even attempt to go is if a friend from out of town was in and wanted to go. My sister's were in a few weeks ago and we wanted to eat dinner there etc. First you have to pay 6 bucks just to have the privilege to sit and eat and get bad service. We opted to go somewhere more deserving. The paper machete horses are the best things there. Pros: Art Work, Big Dance Floor Cons: Bad Service, Cover Charge more

Amusing 10/7/2002

Fun atmosphere with good music. Usually crowded. Great pre and post-Titans game venue, with live radio broadcast. The sevice is reasonably good and the food acceptable. Pros: fun, entertaining Cons: noisy, crowded more

Had to Do it Once 9/27/2002

The band was good. The dancing was fun to watch. The building is very nice. That's about all I can say that is pleasant.... The only good service experience we had was when we were carded when we walked in the door. The bouncer was very friendly. It stopped there. We sat at our table for 40 minutes watching many waitresses ignore us before finally snagging one to be told that the kitchen was closed - AND THEN SHE WALKED AWAY - never even asked if we wanted a simple glass of water or a drink Never saw her again. We stayed only because my friend was enjoying watching and occasionally participating. I'm glad I can say that I went, but I will never go again more

totally awesome place to go 9/17/2002

i go to the wildhorse every year for my birthday bash, to the parade of pennies concert in december. i look so forward to the fun and freinds and the stars who give their time and talents to the kids in dreamworks. love to those who participate every year and for their prayers and money. also to dr. shoffner who is the main provider of this event. thanks to all who have been there and who will to continue to help those kids. Pros: service, seating, entertainment Cons: seating, parking more

Not Worth It!! 6/26/2002

We looked forward to go to THE wildhorse saloon. There is no NON-SMOKING section. This is totally unacceptable. We and a lot of other people we know will not be returning until they have a non-smoking section. The "hostess" was rude and arrogant. more
