Wig Elegance

I recently purchased a wig from this company on ebay! Buyers be aware... I was sent a defective wig. I wore it for an hour before the material used to adjust the wig frayed on my head. I put in a claim once the seller did not want to even offer an exchange for something I clearly had no fault of. I have been a wig wearer for many years now, I have never experience anything like this. The seller has had about 20 negative feedback within the last 6 months and clearly has pulled the same stunt on other consumers! Disgustingly ebay took the sellers side, I proceeded to open a case with paypal, which they refunded only half of the cost of the wig. The wig cost $100 dollars, I have seen the same wig for about $60! They are overpriced and unprofessional with the handling of their customer service! This company claims to have new owners yet I purchase this wig 1 month ago, it's a gamble buying through this people.. Save your money or make your purchase through a different company.. I would hate to see anyone else be taken advantage of your hard earned money and getting ripped off by these selfish people. more

I think there are new owners now In 2011-2012 .. The owner was amazing .. Very happy with service and product.. more

I purchased a hairpiece from this company only to find that it wasn't as pictured at all in color or style. When I tried to return it, they insisted that I had already worn it (which I had not) and refused so I had to file a claim with paypal and won. On top of that the same pieces are available anywhere else for half as much as what I paid there. Cons: high prices, poor customer service more

I agree totally with the first reviewer. Store personnel do not correctly explain wig care -and you will get nowhere trying to reason with the manager. She is unbelievably rude! Also prices are too high - I found the same wig online for one-third the price! If you need a wig, my advice is try several on in the store, find one you like, then buy it online! You'll get a MUCH better price, and you won't have to deal with the rude and untrustworthy people who work there. I am a cancer patient. I bought my wig at Wig Elegance. After wearing it for a month I had to take it back since the front looked burnt. The sales person insisted I had been educated in the heat risk, which I wasn't. She kept demanding it was my fault which I already admitted. I'm embarrassed to say I started to cry. This wig wasn't a fashion statement. It's the only thing that made me feel like myself again. I wrote to the store manager & inform her of her employees insensitive behavior. To date no response. Guess they don't care. Cons: Sensitivity Training Required for Employees more
