I never post reviews, but the treament I received here on my b-day was so bad I was moved to warn others away from this place. I invited about 20 people (30-something professionals, not at all rowdy people) to this bar for a party, thinking we could sit outside. When we arrived they had closed the outside for no reason. The place was crowded and once we finally got a table we were yelled at everytime newcomers came over to wish me a happy b-day. The "bouncer" kept yelling at me that he was just doing his job. finally I said, "I understand, but a third of the people in this bar are here because I brought them, and you could try to help us figure out a solution -like opening the outside- instead of yelling at us." He continued browbeating me and said he couldn't do anything or make any decisions on his own becauase the owner was at home, asleep (this was 10:30 p.m.) Finally I said, "Okay, I get it, we'll tell people they have to move, let's just stop talking about this, okay?" At this point he went ballistic and told the waitress not to serve us anymore because I had disrespected him. Then, they added drinks to our bill that we never ordered. Not wanting a fight, I paid they bill, left a tip so as not to punish the waitress, and even tried to apologize the the bouncer on the way out to clear the air. He was having none of it and said he didn't accept the apology. Then he shouted after me that he made more money than I could ever dream of. (huh?)
Luckily we moved the party over to Kettle of Fish where no one harassed us or shouted about how much money they made. I'm sure it's hard being a bouncer and you have to deal with plenty of rude folks, but the staff at White Horse, with the exception of one waitress, was incredible hostile and "looking for a fight." That's no way to run a business and they certainly won't get my business anymore.
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff people with bad personalities
