Great Place to Buy Snacks 9/27/2005

I stop at Whalers General Store to buy snacks after work. Since I work at a hotel on the Kohala Coast, this is the nearest general store on the way home. They carry all kinds of items, especially Hawaiian souvenirs because many visitors from all over the world shop at this store. This store is located at the Kings Shops near the Hilton Waikoloa Village and the Marriott Beach Hotel. You can also get a coffee at the nearby Starbucks or grab a bite at the Food Court which are all located at the Kings Shops. more

Typical General Store 8/5/2005

Several times I came here after work to grab a snack or a beverage. This store carries a lot of snacks and beverages along with gifts that hotel guests take home to their relatives. The Whalers General Store is located in the Kings Shops and the Waikoloa Resort so many hotel guests frequent this store. Service is quick and the cashiers are friendly. more

Terrific General Store 8/4/2005

This large general store is located at the King's Shops across the Marriott Hotel. It carries a variety of items such as snacks, beverages, and gifts. Many hotel guests come here to shop for everyday items or last minute gifts that they want to bring home with them. I usually shop for snack items when I am in the area. The cashiers are very friendly and check out is usually quite fast. Sometimes there is a line at the cashier stand during peak season. The prices are a bit expensive but not outrageous. more
