I had a damper installed and didn't find out till three years later, when I had a chimney cap replaced that the damper was staying open an inch and a half. so for three year my heat was going out the chimney. I was wonderinf why my living room was always cold. The fellow that installed the chimney cap said the cable was too short anh it was not allowing the damper to close properly. How was I to know this when you hire a company to do a job you expect it to be done right, right? WELL when I brought this to there attention This arrogant receptioist was just that, wanted to charge me to take a look at it and became very indignant when I said I was going to report them to the BBB she laughted in my face! Well everybody supposed to work for FREE she says........ No but I expect the work to be done right... oil is expensive and I lost a lot of heat up the chiminey! ""she claims it's his word against theirs"", I said what would he have to gain by telling me my damper wasn't closing properly? So unprofessional. They were not very willing to stand behind their workmanship without an argument. I don't care to do business with this type of business. I never ran my business that way. we used them another time before we found out that out damper was improperly installed, on a property we were selling for a family member, we had from the inspector that the damper was fine in the chimney so we contracted them to do the other work needed for the chimney. the realtor tells them to put a damper in and we got stuck with the bill, we tried numourous times to tell them we were not reqired to put in a new damper, becaused it passed inspection. they would NOT return phone calls, The damper was put in because the realtor said to, THey worked for US NOT the raeltor!!! YOUR BEST BET IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY SUPRISES DOWN THE ROAD......... USE SOMEONE ELSE!
Cons: the receptionist is very arrogant, doesn't return calls
