I had been going to Dr.Nguyen for years & had never had a problem. The prices were great, the wait was always long but I dealt with it. It is also pretty close to where I live. Then a week ago I go to get my prescription refilled & the pharmacy told me I needed to call my doctors' office. When I did I was told I needed to come in to see the Dr. in the next ten days, I have money problems so I told them I couldn't do it in ten days, if they could just give me a little longer. The woman at the front desk told me I could either go in to see the Dr. or go to a therapist. My Mother-in-law called them back because I didn't understand & by this point I was very upset. The lady at the front desk then told her she said nothing about a therapist to me. I asked to speak to the Dr. & when could he call me, she said it would be at his discretion. The Dr. then called me back later in the day & proceeded to raise his voice at me asking me why we were so rude to his staff (I was very polite with her), & I tried explaining to him that I never recieved any phone calls or anything in the mail about my prescription ending. He said he sent a note to my pharmacy for me to go in, but it is NOT my pharmacy's job to do so, it is the Dr.'s & his staff. I never recieved any note from the pharmacy. I kept trying to explain to the Dr. that if I could just have a little longer than I could come in, everytime I started to talk he raised his voice a little bit higher & spoke over me. He used to see me yearly but now all of a sudden, without warning, he decided he needed to see me more often. They have my information, they can call, they can mail me something. I think he handled everything completely wrong. He sees a friend of mine too, & he sees her for free sometimes, he couldn't cut me a little bit of a break? Did he need to be so rude? I have since found a new Dr. Also if you are thinking of going to see Dr.Nguyen, you will be handed off to Dr.Tran a lot.
