I only went to Western Dental because they said they would give me an appointment in only two days! I waited for 2 hours past my scheduled appointment, in a front room so full of flies people were using the clipboards to swat the air around them. A dentist looked at my x-rays, said that she didn't want to keep me waiting any longer that day, so I should make another appointment, and she left. I had waited two hours for a ten minute consult. Inside, they were doing the dental procedures in the hall! I went for my fillings and as I was being drilled, my mouth became filled with water and fluids, I began to choke, the tech was distracted and letting the fluid fill my throat! Still choking and gagging, with a drill going full bore in my mouth I couldn't fully cough up the fluids, I was even jerking in the chair, and they just kept drilling!!! When the dentist stopped, I sat my head up, and began coughing up what I could, some came up, but not everything, my breathing actually hurt. more

Scary Ghetto Dentist 8/28/2007

OK - this place was so frightening that I actually got up and left. I was actually scared to sit in the waiting room (one lady was shouting, "I'm going to kill you b-tch" into her phone). A couple of the patients looked like they might be homeless. I'm not kidding. I waited for over 30 minutes for my appointment and they still hadn't called me.If you can go somewhere else, do it. One star isn't the right rating for this place, but it's the lowest thing I can give them. more

Where did they get their lic. to practice??? 10/6/2006

I use to come to this dental office until I had the worse experience with them. I came in after months of waiting for my insurance to approve a root canal and my appointment was at 9 in the morning. Now you know that once a root canal has been started you cannot just get up until the dentist closes the wound. I sat there for 8 hours for this dentist to work on my teeth. There is words that can describe the horror that this office made me go through this day. The next day, my mouth was so sore that I could not open my mouth at all. more

The receptionist chews like a llama and pivots her neck like a preying mantis--speed? crack? Once the dental assistant was poking my mouth with the suction tube while staring off into the distance. The dentist said to her, "Hannah." Then, "Hannah!" Finally he had to yell, "HANNAH!" to get her to pay attention to what she was doing. While getting a root canal, part of the drill bit broke off in my tooth and is still there. Another thing: They will tell you that you need only so many fillings, and then once you agree to pay by signing a contract usually when you are all drugged up), they will decide you actually need root canals on every one. And the crown they give you will look like the dentist matched it to your other teeth with his eyes closed. (My crown is so bad that when I show it to people they literally cringe and ask "What is that?". All this for only $4,000! more
