I received a few recommendations for roofers, but after having a few come out and provide prices, I went with Weather-Tite Roofing. I just purchased a home and the previous home-owner had neglected the roof on the house and the garage. Prior to settlement, the estimator came out and provided a detailed quote for the work that was required. When I made settlement, they were out the next day and fixed everything. They even fixed the chimney and re-secured some of the capping and gutters that had come loose in a storm after they were out to estimate the job. Overall a great experience, very professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend using Weather-Tite Roofing. more

If you want to drop $1,000 on a patch that doesn't work, which then causes damage to a $5,000 renovation job, then go ahed and call these guys. more

Had a leak ""fixed"" by another company and now can't get it fixed? Weather-Tite was supposed to come and check it out. It was days after they claimed they would come when I called to check in. Haven't made it out yet is what I was told, they will come out tomorrow. They came out and talked about what it would take to do the job and said they would email a quote. 2 weeks later, no word. I have called trying to get a price...obviously at this point I would not use them, if getting a quote is this hard I can't imagine what their work is like. So many roofs in this city...why is finding a roofer to do a job so hard? My wall and door needs to be replaced and I can not do that until I get a roofer to do the job and do it right. Not asking for favors...I have money to pay you to do your job. Should not be this hard! more

Shopped around, got a quote for new roof from several roofers. Decided to go with weather tite roofing - the cost was not cheaper than others quoted but the warranty was better. They came out collected their check - put the new roof on and I never heard from them again! Didn't receive a receipt or a warranty . I have been calling and leaving a million messages with no return call. There is no honor in what they do! Pros: Fast to collect your payment! Cons: Will not return calls! more

just try and get someone to call you back, or come to your home as promised. i was calling for 3 weeks because i really wanted someone from the neighborhood. kept giving me the run around. they were coming every other day but never came. meanwhile, im getting water leaking through my ceiling. final outcome, they didn't have a ladder big enough to get on my roof. i am 3 story in fishtown. imagine that. a roofer from the neighborhood doesn't have a big enough ladder. it's hard to find dependible people these days. i wouldn't suggest using this company, the integrety is just not there. more
