I personally had struggled with my weight since the age of 14. I would classify myself as a professional Yo-Yo dieter. I had tried them all, from counting points, to low carb, to cabbage soup, but I was never able to reach my goal weight or maintain my weight loss. This lead to a lifetime of frustration, anxiety, and continually beating myself up because of my weight loss failures. Plus at 42 years old, I was fatigued, I didn't sleep well, and I could barely keep up with my 10 and 5 year old daughters. I needed to make a change. In Feb of 2009, Dr David Bunganich, a friend and collegue of mine, approached me about Take Shape for Life. I was ready! After the first week I had so much more energy and felt like I really could do this. I reached my goal of losing 40 pounds and I have maintained since. My friends, family and patients all wanted to know what I was doing. While on the program I wasn't hungry, I had lots of energy, Plus it was super EASY. I read Dr. Wayne Andersens' book, The Habits of Health and practiced the BESLIM Philosophy and have kept the weight off. Because of my success on the program, I decided to “Pay IT Forward” and become a health coach. I love coaching my friends, family and patients. In 2013, my patients and clients lost over 5,200 pounds. Because of Take Shape for Life, I have the freedom to travel, spend more quality time with my family and I am able to donate to causes that are near and dear to my family. I love being a Health Coach!
