They scratched over 9 pieces of furniture of mine when we moved from one side of the park to the other (.8 miles).
They took over 2 months to fix the furniture which did little to actually fix it (antique wood cannot be fixed!) and did not offer any type of reimbursement. Anyways, it was the worst decision to use them bc I paid $360 for them to scratch my furniture. If my apartment had allowed, I would have moved the furniture myself. Instead, we were forced to use a "professional" moving company which really means a bunch of big guys with nothing else to do on their Saturday but to move boxes and heavy furniture so they can get their money. If they had thrown a simple blanket between my headboard, between my futon, between my dining room table, and between my antique roll-top desk, the problem would have been solved. But these thugs didn't care at all.
If you still choose to use this company, you better watch their every move. Stand in the truck with them while they load the furniture there. Ride the frieght elevator with them. Oh and bring your husband as they seem to take men more seriously than women: After I called 4 times with no luck on getting them to come back to my home and fix my damaged furniture, finally my husband calls and they get right on it. Pretty sad, isn't it?
