I have since moved away from Austin to upstate New York, and I still grieve that I can't come to Thomas for my cuts anymore.
He's amazingly trained...so confident in his own artistic and cutting ability to try something new...pushes you out of your comfort zone (in a good way)...and loves what he does.
Another sign of an incredible cut? My cuts easily lasted 4+ months and still maintained their grown-out shape going into the next cut. So don't let his prices desuade you...just stretch the cuts out and enjoy his work!
Having lived all over the country, Thomas could easily have his own Salon in NYC. Easily. Don't miss out...he's beyond amazing and so fun to watch when he gets into his groove.
Only con is that he does book up solid and oftentimes runs behind. But once you get in his chair, you realize that it's because he's a perfectionist that won't let you go home with anything less than perfection. He's definitely worth the wait!
Boy do I miss him dearly!!!!!
