NOTE: The phone number I included is bogus (if you couldn't already tell) I couldn't find a listing but you don't usually call laundromats ahead anyway).
I live in an apartment in Eastlake that has washer/dryer facilities on site, but I head to Washingtown when I’m short on quarters (no change machines at the apt.) or just want to get the wash done in a hurry. It’s good for that. And plenty of people feel totally safe driving away with their laundry going. But you can always count on at least one textbook nappy-bearded Northwest junkie to come slinking in for no apparent reason, or to be hanging out in front of the door. I’ve also been in there when street people and construction guys have snuck in to use the john, leaving that lovely smell in the air as you fold your clean wash. I know it’s a Laundromat, but I figured I’d just warn you beforehand.
