Walmart Vision Center informed me on my initial visit that my insurance does not cover eye exams, lenses, frames... My insurance provider was shocked as I do have coverage and sent me a copy of my policy showing eye glass coverage. My insurance company requested me to get a copy of the bill including tax id of both Walmart Vision Center and the Dr that performed the eye exam to attach to an Out of Pocket Reimbursement Form since I had paid and Walmart did not bill. When I called for the tax id#, the manager argued my insurance coverage. I asked if she would allow the insurance company to make that decision and provide me with the tax id# several times to no avail. The customer service at Walmart Vision Center is unprofessional, argumentative and hopes are they are trained in the future and others do not have to experience such difficulties.
