Went here because my fiancé's phone broke & we needed another ASAP because he works on the river & has to have a phone for emergencies. He picked out a phone online, but site to store would take 5days at our Belleville WalMart & all other surrounding WalMarts, except for Collinsville (which supposedly had 2 in stock). Made a special trip out there around 1am, but my stupid GPS had us on a wild goose chase, so it was around 2:15 when we got there. I called before hand to double check that they had the phone & of course no one answered. When we go back to electronics, a different phone is put in the place of the phone we were trying to purchase. Actually most of the phones were in the wrong spot. So we asked a guy if he could locate the phone & since their shelf price was different than online, if he would do a price match. He said, "I don't know. It should be somewhere & I don't know nothin about price match." & walked away. Well thanks, since you are a retailer & sell the item I'm looking for, I already assumed that it "should be somewhere". Why offer price match if you don't teach your employees how to do it? Sat there another 15 until 2 female employees got done having a conversation & asked one of them to help us look for it. She said she didn't know & asked the other lady what to do. The 2nd lady told her to call a manager to see what to do. They supposedly called a manager & told us, "If it ain't on the shelf, we ain't got it." How lazy are these people?!?!?!! No one bothered to look on the shelf, behind the counter, or run the item # through their little checker to see if they had it in stock. I called the Belleville store & at least that guy checked the item # before telling me that they didn't have it in stock. So I called the 800# for WalMart.com because I was pissed that I made a trip for an item that it said was in stock, just to get treated like I was inconveniencing their damn social hour & had to buy something I didn't want out of necessity.
