Open checkout counters close to both doors. Today I parked near and came in through the main west doors. When I had the things in my cart that I wanted to purchase, I went to the checkout counters near those doors only to find that there were none open and the self-checkouts had horrendously long lines. I and others not willing to go to the far end of the store and back just to give Walmart our money, simply gave up and abandonded our carts. I went from Walmart to Target, purchased what I wanted and noted that on at least one of the articles I saved money at Target, in addition to being checked out promptly.
