Great Cheap Eats 7/28/2009

No price can beat Walery's for the quality of pizza. It's no Chicago deep dish or New York brick oven pizza, but it's great for Salem. This is a fun place for groups of friends, families or pizza parties. more

Pizza and Ranch dressing! 9/10/2008

Their pizza is out of this world and paired together with their ranch dressing which my cousins and I always get a huge container to take home when we are visiting is the perfect combo! They have an arcade and it is very family friendly. Best pizza in Salem!! more

The Greatest Pizza Ever! 1/2/2007

This is absolutely the best thin crust pizza in Oregon. This pizza is made on a savory thin crust that might bubble up into a burned spot on the rim. It is crisp-on-the-outside and tender-on-the-inside. It is a crust that inspires cravings; a crust that holds its shape beneath a cloak of tangy tomato sauce and your choice of any number of tasty toppings. I like to keep it simple and usually just go for one or two toppings. At $9.99 for a large one topping pizza, Walery?s Pizza is a great value. I am convinced a better tasting thin crust pizza can?t be had for any $ amount. \r \r The only bad thing I can say about Walery?s is that I now live in Portland and have to drive an hour to fulfill the cravings that only Walery?s can satisfy. \r \r \r \r \r Pros: Best pizza at the best price. Unbeatable value. Cons: Only one location in Salem more

Cheap and yummy! 8/13/2005

We love eating at Walerys. They have cheap pizza and it tastes really good. They also have a pretty big salad bar. They have a really cheap lunch special. At times they have a long wait time but it is well worth the wait. Good customer service, most of the time. The kids that work in there look quite young and sometimes act that way in front of the customers. Lots of parking spots. Fun place to go with kids. more

Good Pizza, Solid prices 5/10/2004

Walery's was once a bustling franchise chain home to Salem and its surrounding areas not so many decades ago. It has now dwindled down to a remote West Salem location while maintaining its familiar brand appeal. The pizza is similar to that of Papa's or Paddington's in the area with thin crusts, many toppings, and plenty of cheese. Their prices are not terribly expensive like other places mentioned above. Their special deal of $9.99 (10.49 delivery) for a large 1 topping is still among their most popular orders. The atmosphere is geared toward a younger audience with festive and convivial decorations and a mini arcade. Soda and beer (not for youngsters!) included. Pros: Food, Price Cons: , Location more
