I much prefer this Union Square location of Virgin Records to the one in Times Square. The prices are slightly better and the DVD section is better stocked and organized. Overall, the store just has a better feel. The book section is paltry, but one supposes that's something of the point, especially when a great Barnes & Noble so near by. But the store as a whole is a great place to browse when you need a media fix, and is a must visit when they have sales on classic albums and DVDs you should own already, but don't -- it's a great way to build your media library.
