I chose this ""studio"" because I had received a gift certificate from SpaWish for my birthday. I am travelling to Tampa and wanted to feel good for my trip. From the moment I walked in, the customer service was terrible. The receptionist was on the phone and flashed me the peace sign as I came in. She continued her private conversation for 10 minutes and when she finally finished asked if I had been helped...uh, NO!! The services I received were fine but somehow I ended up paying for an eyebrow wax that I had never requested (the way she presented it, I thought it was complementary and then she wanted to dye my eyebrows!! - that didn't happen). When I went to use my SpaWish card, the clinician didn't know what it was and tried to run it through like a credit card. The other employees and the manager were too busy to help so I ended up speaking to SpaWish and showing them that they are INDEED on the SpaWish website. The clinician then suggested I pay for the entire amount and they could give me a refund if they got their money. I, of course, said that wasn't going to happen. Then when I finally tried to pay, she informed me she didnt' take credit cards and I needed to go to the bank. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? so, I went to the bank (i'm am much too honest to just walk out even though the idea certainly entered my mind!) and she called me and told me everyone was yelling at her that I wasn't coming back. I informed her that they need to trust their clients. I came back to the salon and asked if she had change for a $20 and she didn't so had to go searching for change and of course only came back with 2 tens! UGH. The manager was there the entire time and did not ONCE come to see if he could help. I will not return to this place and STRONGLY sugges that no one else even venture into this establishment.
