i arrived to tulsa as an out of state college student. I found dr vineyard online and figured I would give them a shot. I've been to the doctors there twice for 2 different reasons. The first time I had to have a meningitis shot as a requirement for school. Upon arriving for my first appointment i sat in the waiting room for OVER an hour, not including the amount of time it took me to fill out the paperwork. I waited patiently and after being called in the doctors office, it wasnt for near another 20 minutes until the doctor (dr dean because dr vineyard was busy) came in. I brushed it off and figured it may have been a busy day (though the waiting room was next to empty). I got my shot and went home. My second time i went in for pink eye. I payed my 15 dollar copay and sat in the waiting room AGAIN for OVER an hour. once i was called into the back, i sat in the doctors office for an additional 45 minutes! i must point out again that the waiting room was next to empty. Finally dr vineyard came in, gave me my prescription, and that was that. That took less than 5 minutes for a near 2 hour waiting period! . . now THIS is where the fun begins. My mom called my one day (remember im from out of state) to tell me that i received a bill from them for 196 dollars! I called the billing phone number for the drs and i was told that I had was charged for a physical. I assured them that I did not have a physical. The only thing I had was a meningitis shot. She told me she had to talk to someone and would call me back. . . a week later i still had not recieved a phone call so i called her back. again, she told me i was charged for a physical and a meningitis shot, and again i assured her i did not recieve a physical. She then told me to call and speak to a different woman. I did as i was told and the 2nd woman i called said that insurance covered my meningitis shot but not my physical because i was only allowed 1 a year (i had a physical before coming to Tulsa as a school requirement). I agreed with her and said she was correct, I am only allowed one a year which I had in Pittsburgh. When I came to them, however, the ONLY thing I had done was a shot! (why on earth would I want 2 physicals in the matter of 2 weeks?). so she told me she would speak to upper management and give me a call back. . its been three weeks and i have not had a call back. NOW i just recieved ANOTHER bill saying that I owe them a 15 dollar co-pay for my second visit, which I ALREADY paid! included on that bill was STILL the amount for 196 dollars! so now they claim I owe 211 dollars! and i do NOT! I went to my bank statement and found the statement for the 15 dollar copay that they claim i did not pay. I have had it with them. I am not paying the 196 dollars for a physical i NEVER recieved and i am NOT paying a 15 dollar co pay that they claim i never paid when I have a bank statement saying otherwise. do NOT go to dr vineyard! I feel they are trying to take advantage of naive college students. I will never return to them, I plan to tell every one I know to never go to them, AND write as many bad reviews on them as I can. their service (2 hours of waiting for a 5 minute appointment) and the hassel of all this is NOT at ALL worth it! NEVERRRRR go here.
