Dr. Dunn is AWESOME!!!! 11/2/2007

This is a great practice! I personally recommend Dr. Dunn, who is my son's pediatric allergy specialist. I have NEVER incurred a problem with the staff, the appointment times, doctor, or doctor's arrival time. This is a professional yet compassionate staff. I have never come across a staff member that lacks the knowledge needed to assist me. Dr. Dunn has worked intensively to help keep my son off of shots after consulting with me and reviewing his sensitivities. My son is 71/2 years old, and we've been going to see her since he was at least 3 yrs. old. No asthma, he's under control most of the year, and any time we need anything- Dr Dunn and her staff are available, with more than one office where I can see her if needed. I love this place, and, as long as my son has allergies and we live in the area, we'll always be there! Pros: Caring, knowledgeable Cons: Can't book appointments 6 months away more

decent care but poor "service" 2/2/2007

I have had to see an allergist/asthma specialist for about 15 years now. While I think the physicians at this practice are very skilled and good at what they do, I leave the office annoyed every time and angry more and more often. They are constantly running late and for my most recent appointment, my doctor was over an hour late, with no apologies for keeping me waiting this long. I also get allergy shots here and the staff that take care of this part of the clinic are very nice but often do not seem very knowledgeble about how the process of allergy shots should work (the build up process). If it's not explicitly written in the shot book, they seem to not know what to do. I have clarified with them when I should come back for my next shot a number of times and every time I come back in, they say I should have come back either earlier or later even though this is in direct opposition to what they told me the last time I was in. This is extremely annoying and inconvenient! I am now constantly trying to juggle my own schedule because I have yet again been given incorrect information about when to return to the office. I have been so bothered by this lately, that I am now considering switching doctors to see if I can get better service elsewhere. My advice: if you don't need allergy shots and will only need periodic appointments, this practice is pretty good--just be sure to bring something to do because you may be waiting awhile to be seen. Pros: large practice, allergy shot clinic, good physicians Cons: constantly running VERY late, allergy shot clinic staff do not communicate well with patients more
