There are far too many restaurants in Houston to waste your time here. Don't get me wrong....the food was tasty, our server was knowledgable and polite......HOWEVER, the ""new"" manager (and the owner for that matter) did not care enough about keeping us as customers to do what any other restaurant worth it's salt in Houston would have. What's that, you might ask? Honor a Restaurant dot com gift certificiate for a measley $25. Apparently, since I bought my GC, the ""new management"" decided they didn't want to participate in Restaurant dot com. Too bad for anyone who's already purchased one..... The manager refused to take it, was indigant and stubborn and unapologetic about it, and all but huffed away from our table when we asked him to consider it as a courtesy. Frankly, its the only reason we went there. My final thought......and I quote the Rest dot com certificate itself: ""The restaurant is the holder and issuer of this Restaurant Gift Certificate. As the holder and issuer of this Restaurant Gift Certificate, the restaurant is responsible for the final disbursement of this discount."" Really? Really? Apparently not. Oh, and PS - despite the fact that I purchased the GC in 2009, the final sentence of the certificate disclaimer reads, ""This Restaurant Gift Certificate does not expire."" Beware, Galleria dwellers, of this restaurant, and beware fellow Rest dot com fans, of changes in management - for the worst - and restaurant closures! Way to ruin our evening.
