I can't say enough good things about Villaggio. The ambiance is very enjoyable--they play NPR on the radio all day long, and you can see them baking as there is no wall between the front counter and the kitchen. The employees are friendly, too. But the BEST part of Villaggio are the pastries! Try the croissants, crispies, palmiers, muffins, cookies, bear claws, and the marionberry coffee cake. Avoid the cinnamon rolls, though. Too much sugar and not enough cinnamon. For lunch, they make sandwiches to DIE for, using their homemade bread. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5
Pros: coffee & pastries, sandwiches, ambiance
Cons: shop is very small
