Villa Pizza... very villa, very good. Villa is located in the basement of the Purdue student union amidst a handful of other establishments. Out of all the restuarants in West Lafayette, I have probably eaten at Villa 5 times as much as anywhere else. The food is mediocre at best, and the prices are really highway robbery... up to $4.00 for a slice of pizza. BUT; the prices at other Union shops are worse, and some OK food is better than no food when you're hungry. I spend a lot of time in the Union/Stewart Center, so I've eaten a lot of Villa. Villa makes a thin-crust pizza which is pretty good, a deep dish sicilian which is passable, and a stuffed slice that really fills you up. They also have some cheap breadsticks or pepperoni sticks to complement the meal. Also, as long as you keep a Villa cup with you... free refills on soft drinks all year long! Anything other than their pizza is too overpriced, and has probably been sitting out for a while. I'd stick to pizza and breadsticks. Overall, not bad when compared to other Union eateries... but pretty terrible compared to a real restaurant.
