Villa Francesca Restaurant

I've heard Villa Francesca has new management, which perhaps explains the last two times we visited there. A few months ago we went and got the worst service I have ever received in any restaurant in my entire life. And we eat out a *lot*. We tried it again on Mother's Day. There were only four other occupied tables and we sat for almost twenty minutes without receiving so much as a "hello" (nor a menu or even water!!) from the two servers whom we only saw outside of the kitchen once (to give drinks to two of the four other tables). We left and had Mexican. Its disappointing though...they have some of the best pizza you can get anywhere in Knoxville, and those garlic knots are *almost* worth being ignored for twenty minutes, lol. Not to mention Seymour is in desperate need of good non-chain restaurants. more

The Manecotti here is excellant and the deserts are divine !! Yes they are a little pricey, but for a special occasion this is the place to go.The Decor is really nice. Large tables for large families, nice bathrooms, very good service. Friendly people ! Lots of parking and close to other shops in case you want to get out and walk around after you eat ( walk off some of those calories ). An upper scale restaurant for the Seymour area. more

If you like Italian, you will love Villa Francesca. It provides a nice yet casual environment. The menu offers many great Italian dishes. The serving sizes are quite large. They provide a salad and wonderful bread while you wait on your entrée. The prices are reasonable when you consider the amount of food and quality of food you receive. . . but it's fairly expensive. more
