Viceroy is ok 3/18/2006

Viceroy is ok. If you want an ok carryout, might as well try this place. Its fast. Sometimes though, the dishes just arent that good. Now when I have went inside for the buffet it is a different story. The food tasted better and was pretty good. They have good sweets and kulfi. If you live in the area and have never had Indian food, by all means go here and experiment. You will find new foods that you like I am sure. more

I have some Indian friends and they love coming to this place. It's not as good as their mom's cooking, but they say it's good enough. The service is very good as well, and even when they have big parties, it doesn’t get too loud in there or anything. It's a great place to go for food with friends. more

Uneven! 9/21/2005

This is the closest Indian restaurant to us, so we order carryout from them fairly often. Sometimes the food is exceptional, sometimes it is so-so -- it seems to depend on who's cooking that particular day. It varies tremendously in spiciness and flavor, even if we order the same thing. The lunch buffet is decent quality, but a bit pricey for the number of dishes they offer. more

Nothing to Brag About 8/14/2005

I have been to Viceroy of India three times and none of them were by choice. I have not really enjoyed my food there and have always felt that there was something lacking, whether the right combination of spices or something that needed to be tweaked in the flavor. Service is good and the bar has a decent selection to choose from. I wouldn't choose this as my first choice when it comes to an Indian restaurant to eat at, however, if you are going with a group of friends or to a party that is being hosted at Viceroy's banquet hall, it's not a horrendous experience. It's just my experience that you have better options. more
