Editorial review from Citysearch 2/6/2013

Poor communication skills, made promises they didn't keep, were very ""friendly"" when they thought I was going to buy from them, but the tune changed when I was honest and said I was going to continue to shop around for a better price. They decided to loan me the car I was interested in purchasing for 24 hours. J.K. said, ""just communucate with me when you plan on bringing it back"". when I called to let him know that I would be bringing it in the next day so that my husband could check it out, J.K. said ""okay, no problem, bring it in anytime tomorrow"". Mike, the sales manager called me shortly after I spoke with J.K. to ask,""how do you like the car? Be honest, do you think you'll be purchasing?"". My reply was,""I love the car, this is the model I am going to buy; however, I'll be honest, I'm going to continue to shop around for a better price"". Mike didn't seem to want to hear that, so, all of a sudden he needs the car back ASAP. I couldn't get it to him because I was headed out the door within the next 5 minutes. So, Mike requested that I leave the keys in the wheel well and he would come pick up the Nissan and return my vehicle. When I returned from my evening out, at 11:30 p.m. The Nissan was gone but my car had not been returned! I couldn't wait until the morning to get my car because I have to get to work. So instead of going to sleep, I had to go with my husband to the dealership to pick up my car from the lot at midnight using his spare key and retrieve my own key from the dealer sometime the following day. There is no excuse for their lack of communication and complete disrespect of my time. more

Not a respectable place of business 2/21/2009

My husband and I mistakingly bought a car from this ""business"" a few years ago! We got roped in BIG time. They lied and twisted things around until we thought we were buying a gold mine! HA Then we had the idea a few weeks ago to go look and I mean look at a few cars. We took our chance on a Sunday figuring they would be closed. Well, they weren't. And we were attacked by the sales staff. Literally attacked. When one couldn't sell us a vehicle another came out to take his shot and when that didn't work the manager came out (by the way sir, you need some help) to make me an offer I couldn't refuse and actually tried to keep us from getting in our vehicle! We were then trying to back our car out of the parking space while our car was surrounded by 4 sales people the manager banged on our car and screamed at us all the way out the parking lot yelling prices to get us to come back! Are you for real???? In my opinion, ANYONE WHO IS STUPID STUPID ENOUGH TO BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP DESERVES WHAT THEY GET! Read all of the comments that were left for this dealership.....none are good. Cons: VERY UNPROFESSIONAL more

A very strong contender for the worst in Florida 10/8/2007

I had made an appointment on phone with a salesman called Benny to purchase a Maxima. I told him what features I am looking for and what price I am willing to pay. He confirmed that he had one with those features and at that price in stock. I drove about 45 mins to this dealership. Benny wasn't there even though I had made a prior appointment, so I had to wait for about 20 mins. When finally I got the keys to drive the Maxima we talked on phone, I figured it was a demo vehicle with more than 5000 miles on the odometer. Benny deliberately suppressed this fact from me even though I clearly mentioned that I was interested only in new ones. Instead of apologizing, he kept on arguing that a demo vehicle is a new vehicle. I went on a test drive with a guy called Craig in another Maxima. When we returned he told me to park it just behind my car even though there were many other parking spots available. I offered a price but Benny wouldn't negotiate. Another guy, supposedly the sales manager, came to explain to me what price they bought the car for and why they can't accept my offer. All of that was meaningless. Both his and Benny's tones were very disrespectful. I couldn't even leave as I couldn't take my car out. Benny is an outright liar and thinks of himself as the best salesman of the world. The good thing about Vero Nissan is that their dealer fees is $399 (as compared to $599 for most dealers in central FL) and they include certain services like free oil change, two tanks of gas, etc. in that fee. The dealership is in a sorry state with the sales manager yelling at his staff rebuking him in front of the customers. Trust me, it wasn't a drama worth watching. The dealership is very small and the new cars are parked so close that one cannot get into a car without touching the one beside it. I will not recommend Vero Nissan, especially Benny, to anyone. Pros: Low dealer fees, some free services like oil change, two tanks of gas, etc. Cons: High price, limited stock, sorry state of dealership, bad attitude and disrespectful behavior of salesmen more
