I walked in with my adult daughter to see if they could accommodate us and 4 others. There were plenty of seats and 2 small unoccupied tables next to each other. Thinking it would be a nice place to have a drink, I asked my daughter to call the others and ask them to join us - they were across the street and could have joined us in a minute. I was moving a couple of chairs so that the tables could be butted against one another so we could all be sitting together when the waiter came frantically running over and started to move the chairs back to there original position - as if I had committed a crime - and yelling that they couldn't be moved. The bar tender, at the same time, was yelling and frantically gesturing. I told the waiter that we were a party of 6 and he nastily told me things couldn't be moved as he needed room to get to other tables. There would have been sufficient room for an SUV to maneuver easily in the space with the chairs and table moved. The rudeness, snobbishness and unpleasantness were astounding and can't really be described; it had to be experienced. Obviously, there was no way we were going to patronize this establishment at that point and I told him he could keep his empty chairs where he wanted as we would not be using them. He told me never to come back to which I finally told him to do something to himself that is basically anatomically impossible and left. I'm sorry I couldn't leave this establishment a minus 10 because that is what they deserve. I would abstain from wine for the rest of my life before I would even think of going back there. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS unless you relish being treated like you are garbage and not a paying customer.
