The worst vet experience of my life. 10/8/2011

I had been taking my dog to this clinic since he was a puppy and I loved the staff, the service, and value I received. In recent years they came under new ownership and seem to care more about their bottom line than providing good pet care. My dog has seasonal respiratory allergies. On our annual visit the tech and the vet tried to convince me that there was something horribly wrong with my dog and that he needed to be sedated and scoped immediately. In fact "he may have to be rushed to another clinic for emergency surgery." When I told them about the seasonal allergies (which had been noted previously in his file!) they insisted that it wasn't allergies even though the symptoms were the same from previous years. Like the other reviewer noted, they also told me that I was 'risking his life' if I didn't leave him there and let them perform their very expensive tests. Great Customer service after the wait 7/21/2010

I had the pleasure to use this hospital. They are very knowledgeable, and quick. Also prices are reasonable. I boarded my cat at $13/night. I didn't have to bring food. They were able to give him shots but not able to draw his blood. Other place know tricks of the trade. I guess they did not try hard enough. I was a special case and they helped me out a lot. taking my dog to the vet is not fun for me and Midnight. He seems to know when we are going. Once we do get in he seems to be alright. They have to give him a treat. I like thier service. more

great emergency and regular care 4/28/2009

We recently used Pets are People Too in Dunwoody for a parvo dog in our rescue organization. Many veterinarians would have given up on Trooper, and recommended that we just not even try. The great vets at PAPT worked very hard to save Trooper's life, and went above and beyond to help him. They kept us updated on his status, and we never doubted that we did all we could do for him. In the end, Trooper didn't make it, as his case was quite severe, but the vets and staff at PAPT were so compassionate and caring throughout the week that Trooper was there, and I have no doubt that he had the best care possible. more

Good Vet, safe place for boarding 4/10/2009

I took my dogs to Pets Are People Too for years at this location. One of my dogs was abused and is very scared of strangers. When I would board them at this location, the same man would always come and get her. She knew him and trusted him and had no problem going with him to the kennel. That meant alot. Also, the vets are very good. Staff is nice. Prices are a bit high, but worth it. Also, they are open 24 hours, so I liked the peace of mind that no matter when I boarded my dogs, there was always somebody there in the building. more
