"I was only impressed by how awful the service was. When I went to the back to pick my color, there were 2 employees and one customer. One of the empoyees pointed out a ROACH on the wall and they laughed! I was hoping someone would do something about it by the time I came back for my manicure, but it was left there the entire time! As if this wasn't enough, I feel comfortable saying that there is no way the girl who did my nails was licensed because she had to be only about 18 years old and she did a terrible job. If she does have a license, she obviously slept through the mani/pedi class. I know for a fact that I could paint my own nails and get less paint on the surrounding skin, but I feel like even a blind person could have done a better job than she did. When she was taking my old polish off, she was using this teeny tiny cotton ball and pretty much just swirling around the old polish. She insulted me, more than once, by making comments about my legs not being shaved (since she shaves every day) and that she didn't like the color I chose. And when I took my shoes off, she gasped and said, "What size shoe do you wear?! Wow, you're feet are so big!!" I'm 5'10" tall barefoot and wear a size 10-11. I'm not a freak or anything. I am not one of those people who yells at service employees so I just kept my mouth shut. I'm not even sure what I would've said other than, "Are you kidding me with this here??" I felt like I was being punked. When I asked how much the service normally costs (b/c I was paying with a coupon), the owner just said, "People normally tip $8-12." Come to find out that the normally price for a mani/pedi is $65. FOR WHAT?!?!?! She barely took off the old polish, filed my nails, ran a pumice stone over my foot for about 7 seconds, and then put lotion on. No massage, nothing. Just rubbing the lotion in. I felt so cheated. And my nails keep catching on my clothes so they are not smooth at all. I am so disappointed, but I can only laugh at this point. It was just so bad. I would not return for free.
