I was disappointed in the quality of service, or lack thereof, received at this Value City Furniture location. I noticed a couple items I was interested in, and when I mentioned that I lived closer to another location the salesman seemed to immediately dismiss me as a potential sale. I was also interested in an item that was slightly too tall for my needs, he made a crack (maybe he was serious) that I could have someone cut off the top portion for me to make it fit. When I asked if he knew of another location where I could find quality furniture of the same type, but specifically not pre-fab, he suggested a regular Value City store. This was located next to the furniture store so I stopped in thinking that I would be able to find a nice selection. Unfortunately all I could find was pre-fab (such as Sauder) furniture.
I have an unfortunate feeling that because I was dressed very casually and wore no make-up I didn't receive the attention of someone that looked like they had money to spend.
Never judge a book by it's cover. Their loss is someone else's (potential) lifetime gain.
