Being interested in trying my own hand at making my own RCA interconnects I did some research and it led me to VH Audio. First thing I did was hit up Chris for some additional information and he responded to me very quickly and clearly. I then placed my order (during the busy holiday season) and the order was shipped the very next day. After building my cables based on VH Audio cotton wrapped silver all I can say is WOW. My system is in the $100,000 range and has several silver wires in it. I have run the silver vs copper comparison and like silver better. I did not say silver is better I said I like silver better. At the level I am at it is not so much about better but what synergy you have and what sound signature you are looking for. I love PRAT. The cables I built with the VH Audio cotton wrapped silver wire and hyper flex tubing are simply the cable that gives me the best synergy and sound I have ever heard in my system. If you are an individual that loves detail and PRAT then these cables have it in abundance. As nothing is perfect, I would have to give the cables a "ding" in sound stage. The sound stage is not bad, but I have heard better in cable that cost about 2-3 as much. Yet vs. those same cables the VH Audio beat or tied them in every other way. I cannot speak for VH Audio premade stuff (may be great) but have never tried. As for cotton wrapped silver wire and hyperflex tubing, if you are thinking about making your own interconnects and lover PRAT as I do then just take the plunge. You wont regret it and Chris will help you. more

At VH Audio Chris offers great products at great prices. I'm in the midst of upgrading my recording studio and started out with power - Cryo'd Romex and Furutech receptacles and plugs. It is hard to believe until you experience but there's been a huge difference. Things sound "juiced." But more specifically my mixes are more glued together and have big, tight lows and clear, defined highs. If you're on the fence about spending this kind of money on such items, rest assured you won't regret it! more
