I loved it so much, I gave my daughter in law a gift certificate for Christmas! Janie did my first treatment there (facial, pedicure & manicure) and she was great! I recently went for a massage, Breann took care of me, it was the best massage I've ever had. No other place I've ever been to could even compare. I will not go anywhere else for future massages. Reachale greets you as soon as you walk in and just makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend Uruku Salon for any spa treatments. Pros: You're treated like royalty more

I had a spa day and they all treated me like a queen. The products they use are awesome and their staff is wonderful. The price is so reasonable and the drive is so close. There really is not any excuses not to go. Even if you can not go for a whole day, anything they offer is awesome. I can't wait to go back! I have been using Uruku for several years now and have always been pleased with all services. Racquel always makes everyone feel like the most important client to walk through the door! Marissa does my color and I'm happier with it than I've ever been. Anthony recently did a Brazilian Keratin treatment on my naturally frizzy course hair and I am in HEAVEN. For the first time ever I can wash and style my own hair for even the most special occasion in about 15 minutes. It used to take me 2 HOURS to try to dry and straighten this mop! My first experance at URUKU started with going to their enternet sight which explained all the prices and what to expect. Then a phone call and I was set to go. As a business owner my day had been filled with serving others and all I really hoped for was a good hair cut but what I recieved was an experience. I was welcomed with a smile and offered not only a smile but a relaxing enviroment full of joy and energy. As Raul my designed did his magic with aroma I felt my days stess desolve, then he started with my hair style. This is something that normally causes me stress. He was great to explain what he was doing to my hair and I felt like I'd been placed in competent hands. When all was said and done not only did my hair look better than it has in years. I was also abel to walk out the door stress free and pampered. more

I received a gift certificate for a manicure and pedicure from Uruku and expected an in and out experience like most of the places in town. Oh boy! I was in for a surprise and treat. I’ve never experienced such royal treatment from any salon. The manager checked on me several times to make sure that everything was going okay and Cacynda was fantastic. I agree that it was more than just a manicure and pedicure, it was one of the best spa experiences I’ve ever had anywhere. Frankly, I felt so good when I left, I didn’t care how my hands and feet looked. But thanks to Cacynda, both hands and feet looked as good as I felt. Pros: Excellent Service more

I was there on Saturday and Anthony highlighted and cut my hair. I hadn't had a style in years and was looking for a style of my own. I have never been so thrilled with my hair. Anthony came up with a style that suits me perfectly. I drove from Cypress to Baytown and it was well worth it. Uruku Salon definately adds a touch of class to Baytown. I think Uruku Salon is the best thing that has happened to Baytown in the 25 years that I have lived here. You are treated like royalty from the time you walk in until you walk out. Cacynda is an absolute Angel sent from above. I have never in my life had such an experience as when she gave me a pedicure. And, calling it a pedicure is such an understatement. She has obviously found her passion in life and makes you feel as though you have had an ethereal experience here on earth!! Just awesome!!! And, I just had my hair cut from Raul who is an absolute doll and certainly knows his trade. It is, hands down, the BEST cut I have had in a very, very, very long time. And, Raquel, who is also awesome, greats you at the door, gives the BEST hand / arm massage while getting a hair cut! Again, you are truly pampered from beginning to end. Yes, as previously stated in an earlier review, they may be a little pricey for the Baytown area, but this is NOT your ""average"" salon - thus they can price it a little higher than you pay at a ""normal"" salon. If you want ""average"" this is not the place to go. If you want the ""full treatment"" with beyond excellent talent, then this is definitely THE place to go. I would highly recommend it to anyone. more

I love Anthony! He is amazing and the best hair styliest I've been to. Half of the office I work at goes to him and we all love him. He does a fantastic job and I wouldn't dream of going to anyone else. Keep up the great work!! And for the other review saying it's too pricey... umm considering the end result... it's more than worth it, and you'd pay twice as much for an Aveda salon anywhere else!! I DON'T KNOW IF THEY THINK THEY WORK IN THE GALLARIA! BUT I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I CALLED TO GET A PRICE ON A STYLE. I WANTED TO HAVE MY SHOULDER LENGHTH, MEDIUM THICKNESS HAIR STYLED FOR THE EVENING.
