Very Caring and Professional 1/26/2010

A very well arranged and neat waiting area. Have been taking my two cats here for a few months now and all the appointments were made smoothly. The staff is always friendly and very efficient. Never a long wait to see one of the doctors and everyone takes the greatest of care with my boys. Although I haven't had one myself, I've seen firsthand how they handle emergency situations and they are fantastic. Its great to have such a fine establishment in our Andersonville neighborhood. Best animal hospital in the City of Chicago! 9/27/2008

I have been taking my animals to Uptown Animal for over 15 years and have NEVER had a problem with scheduling an appointment. I usually have been able to get an appointment within 1 to 3 days of my call. The owner of Uptown Animal Hospital is Dr. John Mclellan, and he is a fantastic veteranarian. Anyone who has had a problem of any kind with the other Doctors at the hospital, should talk to Dr. Mclellan. I recommend all my friends with dogs and cats to Dr. Mclellan. Every one has been satisfied with his care of their animals. Pros: Great and loving care for both animals and their owners! Cons: NONE more

I've been taking my cats here for over 8 years and the service is excellent. It came highly recommended by friends and the the people who work at the cat shelter I volunteer at. They are very busy because they have provide such excellent service. The ladies that work the front desk amaze me because they always remember my name even though I'm only in about once a year. more

Cant seem to get an appointment 9/8/2008

No appointments available for 2 to 3 weeks; if you tell them your pet is really sick, you are sent to a 24 hour clinic. Since I never get beyond the phone person, can't say what the doctors are; but, if you can't even get an appointment, I highly doubt the vets are qualified.
