I was walking downtown today, mid afternoon, and a dress hanging on the door of Upscale Consignment caught my eye. My friend liked another dress for Halloween that was in the window. My friend and I were having a good time talking about the dresses. I was checking the price of the dress, and to see who the designer was, when I heard a women from inside say something. Once I found the short haired blonde woman's gaze I asked ""I am sorry, what was that?"" The woman abruptly stated ""That isn't for touching!"" I rebutted with ""Oh! Well then I guess I won't buy a thing from here."" I had not even walked into the door of the establishment when I had been ""greeted"" with such little civility. Needless, to say I will never return and I will inform all my local friends to avoid ""Upscale"" consignment. By the way, the clothes have already been touched, they are used! And $169 for a second hand, cheap, handmade-looking cocktail dress that isn't even lined is ridiculous, I will go to a cheap store such as Forever 21, or Charlotte Ruse and get it for $20 brand new.
