I was front row for a show in this tiny theater that had half the current cast of SNL doing hilarious improv based on true stories that were told by some guy, I forget who. It was Amy Poehler, Rachel Dratch, Seth Meyers, and was Tina Fey there? Maybe. It was much better than anything Ive seen on SNL lately. Another time it was Horatio Sands and a few comedy-writer types providing improvised live director commentary track for and basically going MST on the Keanu Reeves clunker Point Break. Not all of what they do there is going to be great, but there are some talented folks perfoming there, and theyre thinkin, and trying out different stuff. And its affordable
