I went to this shop because it was handy to some other errands I was running. I had four pairs of shoes that needed to be re-tapped, and one broken heel. The man at the counter was nice enough, but rather pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer when I said all I wanted was to have the taps replaced and the one heel fixed. ""No no, you need to put new bottoms on this shoe"" and ""What's that? Another pair? Let me see, let me see"". I told him that last pair was for donating and that they were uncomfortable. ""No, no- I will fix, they will be comfortable."" I gave in because he was so aggressive and figured if it meant spening an extra few bucks, what the heck. Maybe the shoes would be more comfortable. But when I came back he had done all this extra stuff to my shoes and the bill was $120!!!!! There was nothing I could do at that point but I felt totally used and cheated. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place unless you are very good at saying ""no"" and being specific about what you want done.
Cons: Pushy, Dishonest, Costly
