New hot water tank 2/27/2019

JD and Chip did a fine job in removing my old hot water tank and installing a new one. They answered all my questions, explained any actions I would need to take with the new tank and they cleaned up the area once they were done. My only complaint was with the scheduling. I was advised that the crew would arrive between 9 a.m. and noon. However it was closer to 1 p.m. before they got to my home. I had to call Universal to find out about the delay. They did not call me. Fortunately, I had no plans for the day and was not too inconvenienced. more

Victim of the freeze-pipes broke 1/22/2019

The field representatives arrived on time and were extremely professional, experienced and completed this work in a timely manner considering the location and extent of damage. Mark M and John P were workers who completed this work. Kept the area clean including areas they passed through in the house. Mark shared some good information and alternatives in preventing problems in the future. I am thoroughly satisfied with all aspects of this work. I have used universal on one other previous occasion and was very satisfied as well. more

called for an appointment on Monday and due to the problem was not a priority. Came first thing on Tuesday and repaired our problem plus gave us helpful advice and recommendations. Would use their services again. more

My experience with the plumbing job was very satisfying..! Kyle, the Pro and his helper Chip did a terrific job to facilitate the plumbing for my showering needs. As if Kyle could read my mind; he knew exactly what I wanted and needed. I am very happy with the job well done and would recommend highly to anyone who needs plumbing work done. Great Service 8/6/2018

I had a water leak in my kitchen. Kyle V and Chip showed up on time, figured out the problem, and fixed the problem quickly. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional and I would recommend them to anybody who has a problem. The charges were very reasonable and less than I expected. more

Excellent response time and quality service 7/15/2018

We noticed our sump pump was not working on a Sunday (2 months after having new flooring installed in the basement.) Universal had Paul at our door within an hour and our pump replaced in short order. more

Billy at Universal Plumbing was great! Quick, efficient, polite and extremely helpful. I called Thursday to make an appointment and was told he would be there between 9:00 and 11:00 the next morning, and was called at 8:50am the following morning to be told he was on his way! Fixed a leaky pipe in the basement and was out the door in under an hour. Thanks Billy and Universal Plumbing! We will definitely be using them for any issues in the future! more

Gas Leak 5/8/2018

We had a natural gas leak - because we have a crawl space Consumers Energy would not go under the house to find the leak nor did they even give us a recommendation of who did such work (they would only turn the gas off). I basically did a google search after calling a local plumbing company who did not have the equipment to test for a leak. I reached Universal on the first try and they gave us an appointment for the same day. within 2 hours. They were professional, quick and immediate found the leak. more

Sewer Line scope 5/5/2018

Universal Plumbing notified me prior to Paul arriving, then Paul, the technician arrived shortly thereafter. Paul was personable and informative. He explained what he was doing and after filming the line, took time to show me with the camera areas of concern. He answered all my questions and made the experience a positive learning one. more
