My AC was acting funny and eventually shut down . All I could think of was a new system might be needed . I googled a few places and decided on Unique since they handled Carrier units . Spoke to Judy and less than half hour Pat was at my door . The man was very knowledgeable and assured me it wasn’t a major issue. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and repaired the problem . That guy knew his craft . He also checked interior parts of unit and assured me all was in good shape . This whole process from start to finish took less than two hours . Installation of boiler and indirect water heater went according to plan and even a little early. Initially I was told the existing chimney could be used, but that changed. The installation crew did a fantastic job and even reviewed the preparation work I had completed prior to the installation. more

Dominick was a great sales resource for the purchase of my ductless heating and cooling unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When Ricky G.and Mariano arrived the day of the install, they could not have been more professional. They covered their shoes whenever they came into the house and placed tarps everywhere they would be walking. They were very knowledgeable about the installation of the equipment and quickly resolved a few issues that arose in my money pit style home. When they were finished they vacuumed and restored my house to how it looked when they walked in (perhaps even a bit cleaner). They then provided me with a thorough tour of my new system. I would highly recommend this company which I saw advertised on FB. They are on Angie's list with high ratings as well. Great companies are made up of great people and I was very pleased. more

I would recommend Unique Indoor Comfort to anyone looking for HVAC solutions. Their prices are competitive. Everyone I dealt with--Mike P, who consulted on the best solution on replacing a mini-split system for my small row house; Wes, lead installer, and Xavier, Mariano and Son, installers; Frank P., senior service technician; Mike F. scheduler; and the office staff, was friendly, considerate and professional. The installation team worked incredibly hard. But what really sets this company apart is honesty and integrity. There were some problems that required reconfiguring the system and caused the job to go over budget, but I was charged not one cent more than the estimate I'd accepted. Because of the pace of the work, a few details remained unfinished at the end of the job. Frank P. fixed everything up and provided detailed information on how the system works. Many reviews say everything went well and was great. For me what sets Unique apart is total commitment to taking ownership and solving problems, large and small when they occur. more

I discovered my water heater was leaking and called UIC first thing in the morning. Joy was able to have someone in my home that afternoon and combine the service call with my routine HVAC service to save me the cost of the service call. What other company would do that! Beshoy was extremely knowledgeable and not only discovered the cause of the problem quickly but also recommended preventative measures for my HVAC system. I highly recommend this company for all your heating, cooling and water heater needs! more

I learned about this company from my general contractor, Jay at Action Builders, in Philadelphia after buying a row-house in January where the top floor was ten degrees warmer than the ground floor (single zone system) in the summer. I reached out to Unique and their front office set promptly up an appointment with Curt, the sales person, who did the initial assessment/sizing and quickly emailed a professional quote to us. Although the cost was a bit higher than I expected, Curt explained that the job entailed a full two days, roof work to build a platform and locate the outdoor condenser and interior work high up in a vaulted ceiling. I paid the deposit by credit card. One day prior to installation, I received an email from Mike explaining the process and requiring a few questions to be answered. On installation date, Alex and Mariano arrived and completed the system in less than two days. Alex, the lead installer, walked me through the entire configuration including a review of the roof work. All work was performed in a courteous and professional manner. Drop cloths and rugs were used to protect the floor and there was zero damage to our home for a job that required equipment to be lugged up narrow steps to the third floor of our row-house. Overall my experience with these guys was great from front-office, through sales and installation. The Mitsubushi MSY-GL15NA-U1 unit is performing flawlessly and keeps the temperature at a cool 72 degrees even when it's 90 degrees outside. Unique even completed the registration for the unit so it's under warranty. Five stars for the Unique Team! more

Beshoy Aziz not only rapidly diagnosed the problem but also suggested preventive improvements to my HVAC system that he also serviced. Pat came out to do a diagnostic on my geo thermal havoc unit He was delayed by a flat tire. I was notified about this as it would have put him later then expected. When Pat arrived he was pleasant and friendly. If I hadn’t known he had just changed a flat tire unexpectedly on the side of a busy road toward the end of his day, his demeanor would not have been noteworthy other than being a nice guy. Not sure I’d have had that much composure. Additionally he was thorough in his assessment and inspired confidence. Super nice guy. It matters ! more

Superb excellent professional. Dimos was technician he was amazing so knowledgeable. Respectful of our home wore shoe guards to preserve carpet. He was efficient and assessed all of our A/C units and our heating unit. additionally, he explained all of his findings in a clear and patient manner. We were in receipt of prompt electronic estimates almost immediately upon his departure. This was a great experience overall. more

We were very impressed by the professionalism of both the office staff and the install crew! They went above and beyond during the inspection/ quote process then again during the actual install. The two men that installed the unit were very kind and courteous, respectful of our house and time in addition to cleaning up (with a vacuum!!) after each step of installation and at the end of each day before they left. The install crew communicated goals for the day prior to starting and what was completed prior to leaving. Thank you for making the process seamless and sending in a crew we trusted in our home. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Unique Indoor for their knowledge, professionalism, customer service, communication and the quality of product installed. They truly set the bar compared to other companies we have used locally that have put a bandaid on our problems, not actually identified and fixed the root of the issue!! THANK YOU!! more
