Jaime and Kyle are the only mechanics I will go to. I have never had a problem at all dealing with them. They serviced both our vehicles long before they started Underhood Automotive, and when they disappeared I went looking for them. I looked up Jaime in the phone book, called him, and asked him where he was now. He thanked me, but I said that he had given such great service that I intended to keep my business with him.
I have a long standing situation with them. I treat my vehicle like it is part of the family. I had an older vehicle, and the first time I went to Jaime I told him that when I bring it in I expect him to find something wrong with it because of wear and tear. If not, I would doubt his ability as a mechanic.
When we got our new car, Jaime told my wife not to expect him to find something wrong with it anymore. I let him know that it is in his hands. I bring it in for complete service, and if there is even a hint of a problem I want it taken care of. I don't like having automotive problems. It has worked out very well, and I have never had any trouble.
Underhood Automotive is prompt. When they tell me the car will be done at a certain time, it is always done at that time. I had service done recently, and had no way to get home, but they told me that was no problem. They brought me back home, and then dropped off the car when it was ready. I can't ask for better service.
They have absolute honesty as mechanics. They don't pad the bill and fix what needs to be fixed. They are good mechanics that keep up with their schooling and with the latest mechanical material. Underhood is an all-service maintenance group, so they can even take care of smog and transmissions. They keep my car exactly to factory specifications.
