Well, no one has broken into my storage space, so I guess that's good. And the location on Hempstead had good prices.
Customer service, however, is lacking. On several occasions I've had to clear up my "failure to pay" in response to threats to have my stuff moved out. Even though I've been using credit card autopay. Sure, they were glad to clear it up each time after I showed them that I had paid. What a pain.
More recently, I've been dealing with them on move-out. One employee said that I could use their truck for move-out, and gave me detailed instructions on how and when to request it, and never said there was a charge. But then the manager said that there would be a (pretty hefty) charge and furthermore that if someone wanted it for move-in, I would get bumped even with just a few minutes notice.
I can say that the mis-information and bad service were always delivered politely.
